How to Complete All Overwatch 2 Halloween Challenges

The first Halloween Terror event of Overwatch 2 has arrived, running from October 25 to November 8, 2022. Along with new Halloween skins and a brand new Junkensteins' Revenge: Wrath of the Bride event, Overwatch 2's Halloween 2022 event brings tons of fun challenges to complete for extra Battle Pass XP and Halloween-themed sprays and voice lines.

On this page of IGN's Overwatch 2 wiki, you will find a list of all the Overwatch 2 Halloween Terror Event Challenges and some tips on how to complete the Event Challenges.

How to Access Event Challenges

To take a peak at the Halloween Terror Event Challenges that await you, select "Challenges" on the bottom left of the menu options on the main Overwatch 2 screen. You can also visit the Battle Pass and select "Challenges" from the menu on the left side.

While in Challenges, select "Event" from the tabs on the top of the screen. Here you can find all the Halloween Terror Event Challenges you have completed and have yet to complete.

Here are all the Halloween Terror Event Challenges for the Overwatch 2 Halloween 2022 Event:

Wrath of the Bride Event Challenge

Challenge	Win Wrath of the Bride on any difficulty.
Reward	Reinhardt "Our Tale Begins" Voice Line
Tips	Play Wrath of the Bride on Story Mode to get this Challenge done quickly. Otherwise, complete Wrath of the Bride on Hard difficulty to complete Wrath of the Bride and Taking the Plunge in one run.

Fury of the Heroes Event Challenge

Challenge	Win Wrath of the Bride with a score of 10,000 or higher.
Reward	"Hasta La Muerte" Spray
Tips	If you are struggling to compete the Fury of the Heroes challenge on other difficulties, do a run of Story Mode to rack up your score.

No Spark Event Challenge

Challenge	Win wrath of the Bride without letter the Lord of the Castle take any damage.
Reward	1000 Battle Pass XP
Tips	Play Wrath of the Bride on Story Mode to avoid too many Omnic zombies spawning, making it easier to defeat waves of enemies without Reinhardt taking damage.

Wedding Planner Event Challenge

Challenge	Complete 13 Junkenstein challenges.
Reward	Jack o' Lantern Weapon Charm
Tips	This Challenge will complete automatically when you complete 13 other Event Challenges. Focus on tackling the easiest Event Challenges if you wish to prioritize completing the Wedding Planner challenge and its reward.

Taking the Plunge Event Challenge

Challenge	Win Wrath of the Bride on Hard difficulty.
Reward	Zomnic Graffity Spray
Tips	To conquer Hard difficulty, group with a bunch of friends and assign each other roles: a Tank to take damage from the boss, one Damage to focus incoming Zomnic waves, one Damage to help the Tank with boss enemy, and a Support to prioritize healing first. If you are playing solo-queue, try to focus on one target at a time before switching to the next.

Here Comes the Bride Event Challenge

Challenge	Win Wrath of the Bridge on Expert difficulty.
Reward	1250 Battle Pass XP
Tips	To conquer Expert difficulty, group with a bunch of friends and assign each other roles: a Tank to take damage from the boss, one Damage to focus incoming Zomnic waves, one Damage to help the Tank with boss enemy, and a Support to prioritize healing first. If you are playing solo-queue, try to focus on one target at a time before switching to the next.

Love Conquers All Event Challenge

Challenge	Win Wrath of the Bride on Legendary difficulty.
Reward	1250 Battle Pass XP
Tips	To conquer Legendary difficulty, group with a bunch of friends and assign each other roles: a Tank to take damage from the boss, one Damage to focus incoming Zomnic waves, one Damage to help the Tank with boss enemy, and a Support to prioritize healing first. If you are playing solo-queue, try to focus on one target at a time before switching to the next.

Four Brave Heroes Event Challenge

Challenge	Win Wrath of the Bride as four different heroes.
Reward	"Nightfall Over Adlersbrunn" Name Card
Tips	Play through Wrath of the Bride Story Mode four separate times as a different hero, or if you wish to kill several birds with one stone, change up which hero you play while completing Story Mode, Hard, Expert, and Legendary difficulty.

Re-Tired Event Challenge

Challenge	Destroy 15 Shock-Tires in Wrath of the Bride.
Reward	Ashe "Zomnics Under the Moon" Voice Line
Tips	The progress you make in destroying Shock-Tires in Wrath of the Bride carries over from one run to the next. Focus on destroying the Shock-Tires that appear in the event, and eventually, you will accumulate 15 Shock-Tire kills across all your Wrath of the Bride runs.

Council of the Bride Event Challenge

Challenge	Eliminate 35 bosses in Wrath of the Bride.
Reward	Junker Queen "Bodies to Bag" Voice Line
Tips	The progress you make in eliminating bosses in Wrath of the Bride carries over from one run to the next. To increase your chances of getting eliminations on bosses in Wrath of the Bride, play as damage-focused heroes such as Junker Queen, Sojourn, or Ashe. Eventually, you will accumulate 35 eliminations across all your Wrath of the Bride runs.

The Automaton, Transformed Event Challenge

Challenge	Eliminate the Experiment while it is in tank form on Hard difficulty or above in Wrath of the Bride.
Reward	1000 Battle Pass XP
Tips	You can complete The Automaton, Transformed challenge in tandem with Taking the Plunge. Be sure to focus the Experiment (Bastion) boss when it appears to get the elimination. Playing damage-focused heroes such as Junker Queen, Sojourn, or Ashe can help you secure the elimination.

Knock, Knock... Event Challenge

Challenge	Disturb the guest in the Tavern in Wrath of the Bride.
Reward	Kiriko "Scry Some More" Voice Line
Tips	Knock four times on the rightmost door on the second floor of the tavern in Adlersbrunn.

Ominous Portent Event Challenge

Challenge	Witness all seven Banshee moments in a single run of Wrath of the Bride.
Reward	Kiriko "Tarot Reading" Voice Line
Tips	Before the Banshee (Moira) boss appears at the start of Wrath of the Bride, she can be seen using Fade to zip around the edges of the map. Keep an eye out for her as you attempt your other Wrath of the Bride difficulty runs to try and spot her all seven times in one go.

Photozomb Event Challenge

Challenge	Strike a pose with the Bride (Sombra) during her introduction in Wrath of the Bride.
Reward	Sombra "Never Cross the Bride" Voice Line
Tips	You have just enough time to make it up to the operating table where the Lord (Reinhardt) is strapped down before the Bride's intro cutscene begins. If you stand there before the cutscene starts and you freeze in place, you will appear in the cutscene alongside Sombra! Use Kiriko to wall climb up to the platform Sombra stands on, or use Ashe's Coach Gun to propel you to the platform.

Witch's Brew Event Challenge

Challenge	Uncover the fate of a terror past in a hidden corner of Adlersbrunn in Wrath of the Bride.
Reward	Sojourn Voice Line
Tips	After defeating the Summoner and Gargoyle outside the castle gates, crouch to access the room beside the castle moat. Inside is a witch's cauldron, referencing "The Witch" boss from the original Junkenstein's Revenge!

Lantern Lit Event Challenge

Challenge	Crouch at the lantern for six seconds while the Ghost (Sigma) is active in Wrath of the Bride.
Reward	1000 Battle Pass XP
Tips	Crouch down next to the lantern next to the antechamber to the left of where the Ghost spawns in the castle.

The Wanderers of Old Event Challenge

Challenge	Win Junkenstein's Revenge on any difficulty.
Reward	1000 Battle Pass XP
Tips	For the quickest run, complete the old Junkenstein's Revenge on the easiest difficulty.

The Endless Night Began Event Challenge

Challenge	Complete Wave 12 in Junkenstein Endless
Reward	500 Battle Pass XP
Tips	To ensure you and your team stays alive in Junkenstein Endless long enough to reach Wave 12, play as Kiriko and focus on healing your team.

Unfinished Business Event Challenge

Challenge	Win Junkenstein Challenge Mission: Vengeful Ghost
Reward	500 Battle Pass XP
Tips	A "Vengeful Ghost" Zomnic appears, with similar life-sapping power to the Sigma Ghost in Wrath of the Bride, chasing down different Heroes randomly. Have your team play two Supports, so that when one Support is being chased down by the Vengeful Ghost, the other can take over healing for the team.

Spooky, Speedy Event Challenge

Challenge	Win Junkenstein Challenge Mission: Frenzied Stampede
Reward	500 Battle Pass XP
Tips	Zomnics move much faster in the Frenzied Stampede mode. Brigitte is a good Support pick for the mode for her Shield Bash. Tracer and Soldier: 76 are two high-mobility Damage heroes that will give you the advantage in this mode.

Terrifying Trio Event Challenge

Challenge	Win Junkenstein Challenge Mission: Three They Were.
Reward	500 Battle Pass XP
Tips	In the Three They Were game mode, you only have a team of three heroes. With such a small team, it's more important than ever to have a team composition made up of one Tank, one Damage, and one Support.

Get Ready For A Shock! Event Challenge

Challenge	Win Junkenstein Challenge Mission: Shocking Surprise.
Reward	500 Battle Pass XP
Tips	In the Shocking Surprise game mode, some Zomnic enemies will spawn a Shock-Tire upon death. Picking Heroes such as Solider: 76, Cassidy, or Baptiste will help you beam down Shock-Tires quickly.

Volatile and Vile Event Challenge

Challenge	Win Junkenstein Challenge Mission: Volatile Zomnics
Reward	500 Battle Pass XP
Tips	Much like the harder difficulties of Wrath of the Bride, Zomnic enemies will explode if you get too close to them. Keep you distance, and pick Heroes with long-range capabilities, such as Solider: 76, Cassidy, Hanzo, or Zenyatta.

Costume Party Event Challenge

Challenge	Win Junkenstein Challenge Mission: Mystery Swap.
Reward	500 Battle Pass XP
Tips	Mystery Heroes meets Junkenstein's Revenge in the Mystery Swap game mode. The Hero you play as will periodically be swapped. This is a fun, chaotic mode that relies on you having a good grasp on many different heroes. It may also pit you against a wave of Zomnics with no Support heroes. Good luck!
