COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Duke men's golf team got its first look at the NCAA Columbus Regional course on Sunday, completing an 18-hole practice round at the Ohio State Golf Club's Scarlet Course in advance of Monday's first round in Columbus, Ohio.

The 54-hole NCAA Regional will be contested over the next three days with the five lowest scoring teams from each of the six regional sites advancing to the NCAA Championship May 27-June 1 at Grayhawk Golf Club in Scottsdale, Ariz.

Other teams competing in the Columbus Regional are top-seeded Oklahoma State, Georgia Tech, Arkansas, Clemson, East Tennessee State, Ohio State, Northwestern, Florida Gulf Coast, San Francisco, Kentucky, Wright State, and Southern Illinois.

Duke's lineup for the Columbus Regional includes senior Quinn Riley, sophomores Ian Siebers and Jimmy Zheng and freshmen Luke Sample and Kelly Chinn. Freshman John Peters will serve as the alternate.

The Blue Devils are paired with Northwestern and Florida Gulf Coast for Monday's first round and the trio of teams is off the first hole, beginning at 8:25 a.m. The tournament will be repaired after each round. Live scoring is available at golfstat.com.

Siebers, an All-ACC selection for the second consecutive year, leads the Blue Devils this season with his 71.07 stroke average with a top five and six top 10 finishes this season. Riley, who was the medalist at the Stitch Intercollegiate, owns a 72.24 average this season with two top five finishes and three top 10s.

The Duke men's golf team is making the program's seventh consecutive NCAA appearance and the 27th overall. Duke has finished third or better in three of the last four regionals and in four of its last six appearances, including a third-place finish in 2015 at the Lubbock Regional, a tied-second at the Baton Rouge Regional in 2017, a second-place finish at the Raleigh Regional in 2018 as Duke shot 22-under par – the program's record for an NCAA Regional competition -- and a second-place finish at the Athens Regional in 2019. The 2020 NCAA Championship was canceled by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Scarlet Course at Ohio State is a Dr. Alister MacKenzie design playing to 7,422 yards and a par of 71 and is the home course of the Buckeyes.
