From April 30 to May 6, 2021, DHM Research conducted a survey of 600 residents in the Portland metro region on behalf of The Oregonian/OregonLive.
The survey consisted of 600 adult residents in the Portland metro region, half of them in the city of Portland.
Respondents completed the survey by live interview telephone calls, including both landlines and cellphones, and online. 51% of the interviews were conducted by telephone and 49% online. In gathering responses, a variety of quality control measures were employed, including questionnaire pre-testing and validation. Quotas were set by age, gender, county, education and race to match adult population.
The poll had a margin of error of plus or minus 4.0%. Results were adjusted to reflect the view across the metro area.
Here is the full data set behind the poll results, which ran in a series of stories you can find at Oregonlive.com/downtown.
