WEST DES MOINES, Iowa – The DePaul golf team completed 36 holes of competition on Monday and sit in ninth place heading into Tuesday's final round. Noah Kolar and Nik Gatmaytan led the team as both players are among the top 30 on the individual leaderboard.
 
Kolar is tied for 22nd place following rounds of 71 (E) and 74 (+3) on Monday while Gatmaytan is in a group in 27th place. Gatmaytan record a 76 (+5) in the morning session followed by a 70 (-1) in the afternoon circuit.
 
Conor Glennon, Alex Vekich and Grant Boyson are within a shot of each other as Glennon is tied for 66th and Vekich and Boyson are in a group in 69th place. Glennon carded rounds of 75 (+4) and 78 (+7) on Monday while Vekich posted an 83 (+12) and a 71 (E). Boyson matched Gatmaytan for the best round of the day with a 70 (-1) in the second round after recording an 84 (+13) in the first round.
 
The Blue Demons are in ninth place, but just a shot behind eight-place Eastern Kentucky and two shots behind Northern Iowa in seventh. North Dakota State holds the team lead with a score of 567 (-1). Matthis Besard from Southern Illinois is atop the individual leaderboard following rounds of 66 (-5) and 68 (-3).
 
Tuesday's final round at Glen Oaks Country Club is scheduled for a 9 a.m. shotgun start. Live scoring is available at BirdieFire.com.
