Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow underwent successful surgery on a knee injury suffered last month, the team announced.
Burrow — the NFL's No. 1 overall draft pick last spring — reportedly tore his left ACL and MCL in Cincinnati's 20-9 loss to Washington on Nov. 22.

The rookie QB was carted off after being hit low while throwing in the third quarter at FedEx Field.
"Joe Burrow underwent successful surgery [Wednesday]," the Bengals said in a statement Thursday. "The procedure went as planned and he is expected to make a complete recovery.

Burrow was producing strong numbers in his debut season with the Bengals prior to the injury. Through 10 games, Burrow completed 65.3 percent of passes for 2,688 yards, 13 touchdowns and five interceptions.
Burrow's five interceptions are the least in the league alongside Andy Dalton of the Cowboys, with Eagles QB Carson Wentz (15) recording the highest number.
The 23-yeard-old Burrow also rushed for 142 yards and three touchdowns on 37 carries.
