Still warm and humid, but storm chances return - WKOW

susukema.blogspot.com

MADISON (WKOW) - We'll feel very summery this week with above-average temps and humid conditions.

SET UP
A stationary front will linger across southern Wisconsin early in the week keeping our weather pattern warm and humid and increasing storm chances.

Stationary boundary causing unsettled weather pattern

TODAY
Clouds will increase with shower and storm chances developing around lunchtime and soon thereafter.

A couple storms may be stronger with heavy downpours and high winds the main concerns.

High temps will be very warm in the mid to upper 80s.

Low-end severe threat today

TONIGHT
Storm chances will quickly taper around sunset and beyond as the heating of the day fueling the storms, goes away.

Overnight will be partly cloudy, muggy and warm in the upper 60s.

TUESDAY
A sun-cloud mix with a few showers and storms, mainly in the afternoon with temps soaring back to the upper 80s.

WEDNESDAY
The stationary boundary will meander southward, dropping storm chances to be fairly isolated in nature.

Temps stay warm in the mid 80s.

THURSDAY
Storm chances are gone heading into the holiday weekend, but we'll still be very warm and humid with highs in the upper 80s.

FRIDAY
Partly sunny and very warm in the upper 80s.

4TH OF JULY WEEKEND
A rare 4th of July holiday with no rain threat. We'll be sunny, very warm and humid with highs in the upper 80s.
