The LSU-Oregon State game in the NCAA Baton Rouge regional is still set to start on time despite a lengthy weather delay Saturday afternoon during the Tulane-Sam Houston game, LSU officials said.
The Tigers and Beavers are scheduled to play at 8:06 p.m. The game will be televised on ESPN2.
Tulane-Sam Houston is scheduled to resume at 5:55 p.m. with the Green Wave batting in the top of the seventh inning down 7-2.
The game was halted at 4:07 p.m. because of lightning in the area, followed by heavy rain.
