Fashion influencer Arielle Charnas and her husband Brandon made headlines when rumors started swirling that they were heading for a divorce.
But the Something Navy founder’s rep exclusively told Page Six that they are happily in love and are doing just fine.
Here is a complete rundown of their relationship, from how they met to building a family together.
A not so meet-cute
Arielle first met Brandon in 2009. He went shopping with his mom at the Theory store in Meatpacking District in NYC where Arielle happened to be working at the time.
“He was so rude and not nice to me,” Arielle recalled on her podcast “In House With Arielle Charnas” in September 2021.
That night, Arielle friended him on Facebook.
What Happens in Cabo…
The two reconnected in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, that same year in December when they happened to be staying at the same hotel with their respective families, she revealed on her podcast.
They ran into each other in the lobby, but Arielle noted in her podcast that he was hesitant because the influencer had dated one of his friends.
But the duo continued to run into each other throughout their vacation. While Brandon bought Arielle a round of drinks at a bar, he also came over with a large group of French women to play hard to get.
She decided to leave, but not before Brandon asked for her phone number.
While Brandon claims he texted her, Arielle says she never got his message.
Making moves
Arielle made several attempts to connect with Brandon but to no avail. At one point, she went to a party knowing he would be there and saw him making out with another woman.
“I felt angry and I wanted him to know it was not going to happen between us,” she said.
She went up to him while he was making out with the other woman, said “this is such a fun party,” and left.
The first kiss
The next day, Brandon reached out asking how he could make it up to her. She played it cool, telling him which club she and her friends would be going to on New Year’s Eve, and Brandon showed up right after midnight.
“I took her hand, walked her up to the bar, danced with her,” he said on the podcast.
They went to another bar where they had their first kiss.
Moving quickly
Arielle and Brandon returned to the city from Mexico and moved in the next day.
“We’ve been together since,” she said, with Brandon adding, “When you know, you know.”
They didn’t label themselves as boyfriend and girlfriend until after they lived together for five months.
A spooky question popped
Brandon proposed to Arielle on Halloween while he was dressed as a zombie groom.
The idea behind his proposal was inspired by their mutual love of horror movies.
Saying “I Do”
The couple tied the knot on Oct. 18, 2014 in Miami, according to Brides.com.
Arielle wore a custom Christian Siriano gown and Rene Caovilla shoes.
“We wanted to look back and see something we’ll love forever, so we went clean and chic,” she told the website at the time.
Starting a family
Arielle and Brandon welcomed three daughters together: Ruby Lou, Esme Rae and Navy Bea.
The Something Navy founder announced that she was pregnant and expecting their third child in December 2020 after revealing earlier that year that she suffered a miscarriage.
Breakup rumors swirl
In December 2022, the internet was flooded with rumors that Arielle and Brandon were getting a divorce with several unfounded claims popping up all over TIkTok and Reddit.
On top of that, she further fueled rumors when she was seen without her wedding ring and limited the comments section on her Instagram posts. Brandon also made his Instagram profile private.
But a spokesperson for Arielle exclusively told Page Six that the couple were not breaking up.
“This is patently false. They are happily married and in love,” Arielle’s spokesperson told Page Six in reponse to questions about the breakup rumors.
Additionally, an executive at Something Navy denied baseless rumors that Brandon was embezzling money from the clothing company.
“This is categorically false,” Something Navy CEO Matthew Scanlan told WWD. “Brandon Charnas does not have access to company bank accounts. He is not an employee of the company, and he has no access points,” he said.
