MINERAL RIDGE — West Branch’s volleyball team swept a pair of matches against Mineral Ridge and Hubbard on Saturday.
The Warriors are now 11-0.
West Branch beat the hosts 25-18, 25-16. Sydney Mercer and Mikalyn Fitts had nine points each for the winners. Mercer added 16 kills. Hannah Rush had 18 assists.
Against Hubbard, West Branch won 22-25, 25-20, 26-24. Adele Peters had 12 points and four aces. Rush had 30 assists. Mercer had 17 kills.
West Branch’s jayvees defeated Ridge 25-23, 25-17. Addison Craven had eight points. The Warrior reserves lost to Hubbard 25-22, 25-18.
Crestview 3, Mooney 0
YOUNGSTOWN — Lucy Montgomery had 19 kills, 13 assists and 11 digs as Crestview downed Mooney 25-21, 25-10, 25-19 on Sunday.
Crestview moved to 11-0 on the season.
Grace Auer added 23 assists, eight kills, five aces and eight digs. Abbey Emch had 11 kills and five blocks. Shelby Rambo had six kills and Kendra Greaves had 13 digs.
Crestview won the jayvee portion 25-7, 25-8. Katie Lissi had seven kills and Ashleigh Hodge had five kills.
Crestview’s freshman team traveled to South Range on Saturday and lost to the Raiders 26-24, 25-22 and Beaver Local 25-13, 25-19.
Girard 3, Salem 0
GIRARD — Girard tamed Salem 25-16, 25-20, 25-11 on Saturday.
For Salem, Rylie Troy had five kills and 15 digs. Jenna McClish had 15 digs and two aces. Elena Colarossi had seven digs and 11 assists. Emma Hochadel had seven assists, seven digs and three kills. Zoie Reid had five kills and seven digs.
Columbiana 3, Heartland 1
COLUMBIANA — Columbiana rallied for a 14-25, 25-15, 25-13, 25-15 win over Heartland on Saturday.
Columbiana (9-3) was led by Julia Rapp’s eight kills. Olivia Cmil had 14 digs and 11 points. Toi Long had 16 points, four kills, five aces and seven digs. Ava Heinrich had 15 points, four kills, five aces and five digs. Cameron Perkins had 12 assists and 10 digs.
Heartland falls to 4-5.
Emma Hall had 20 kills, five points, three aces and 16 digs for the Lions. Jorden Webb added 10 points, three aces and 16 digs. Abby Mitchell had nine points, two aces and 12 digs.
Heartland hosts Grand Valley Monday. Columbiana hosts Leetonia on Tuesday.
Columbiana won the jayvee match, 25-10, 25-20.
Maryn Hepler had four kills, six assists, three aces and eight points. Taylor Long added three kills, three digs and four points.
Zoe Matthews had 10 points and five aces for the Lions. Rachel Reynolds added six kills. Julia Denny had eight digs.
