Six Huskers competed and many of the team's newcomers produced standout performances, as the team faced OSU in singles and went 5-1 overall.
Junior Shunya Maruyama defeated Maxim Verboven 6-4, 7-6, while senior William Gleason beat Luke Hammond 6-4, 6-3. Freshman Roni Hietaranta got his first win as a Husker against Francisco Pini 6-2, 6-4, and fellow newcomer Rudra Dixit also had a strong start to his Husker career with a win over Sammr Raina 6-3, 7-5. Senior Victor Moreno Lozano defeated Nic Pesoli 6-2, 6-2, and sophomore Nic Wiedenhorn rounded out singles play with a loss to Leighton Allen.
