About 50 percent of the first phase of the Hollywood Park mega-development in Inglewood, Calif., is almost complete, developers announced today.

The 300-acre project, which includes the 70,000-seat SoFi Stadium — home to the L.A. Rams and L.A. Chargers — will include up to 5 million square feet of creative office space, 890,000 square feet of retail, a 300-room hotel, and up to 2,500 new housing units when complete. Real estate developer and Rams owner Stanley Kroenke is building the project with Wilson Meany, which is also developing Inglewood’s new $1 billion arena project nearby for the L.A. Clippers.

The pair also announced this week that the 6,000-seat, 227,000-square-foot performing arts center at Hollywood Park will partner with Live Nation for booking services.

The NFL, too, is relocating its West Coast headquarters from Culver City into a 214,100-square-foot space at the Gensler-designed NFL Building at Hollywood Park, which is set to open this year. A studio and studio support space totaling 74,922 square feet has also been leased.

The first phase of Hollywood Park’s retail district will include 500,000 square feet, with 320,000 square feet currently under construction and scheduled to open in spring 2022.

Meanwhile, the first 314 residences at Hollywood Park will be completed a few months after Super Bowl LVI in February 2022.
