TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — Florida State softball announced their schedule for the 2021 season on Thursday. The Seminoles will play 50 games in the regular season with 27 of those at JoAnne Graf Field at the Seminole Softball Complex.
Florida State opens their season at home on February 11 against Florida A&M in their first of three games that weekend as a part of the JoAnne Graf Classic. FSU will also play Memphis and Missouri as a part of the classic.
The Noles then have their only midweek game this season against Southern Miss on February 16. Florida State heads to Atlanta, Ga. On February 18 to play in their first of six games in one of the ACC’s pods for the 2021 season. The Seminoles will play three games against Georgia Tech and three against Virginia Tech in a four-day period.
Florida State will be back home the next week to host their second of two tournaments this season as they welcome Florida Gulf Coast and Southeast Louisiana to Tallahassee for the Unconquered Invitational (February 26-27).
The Seminole softball team plays a home and home with the Florida Gators on March 5 and 6, playing in Gainesville on the fifth before returning to Tallahassee to play the Gators on the sixth. Florida State’s out of conference schedule is completed when they welcome Arizona to town for three games (March 11-13).
FSU continues its conference schedule on March 19 when North Carolina comes to town (March 19-21).
This season all of the ACC series are four games with one game scheduled on Friday, a doubleheader on Saturday and one game on Sunday.
Florida State has home ACC series against North Carolina (March 19-21), Notre Dame (April 2-4), Duke (April 9-11) and NC State (April 30-May 2).
The Noles head on the road to take on Boston College (March 26-28), Syracuse (April 16-18), Louisville (April 23-25) and Pitt (May 7-9).
Fan attendance and stadium policies are to be announced at a later date. All game times and TV information will be announced at a later date as well.
The ACC Championship will take place on May 12-16 in Louisville, Ky. With the NCAA Tournament beginning the following week.
