The official Week 8 injury report is out, and there are a lot of considerations you’ll need to weigh before making your final fantasy football decisions on Sunday.
Let’s start with Cowboys QB Andy Dalton. He was officially downgraded to out on Saturday. That means Ben DiNucci will start in his place against the Eagles. You should in no way be considering him for your lineup.
Seattle’s backfield is a huge headache this week. Chris Carson and Travis Homer are questionable; Homer should be able to play. Carlos Hyde is doubtful. And they’re all going to be game-time decisions. DeeJay Dallas is the next man up, but without knowing who’s going to play and who’s not, it’s impossible to figure out how the backfield workload would be distributed.
Things are a real mess at wide receiver. Michael Thomas and Deebo Samuel are not playing. Jamison Crowder is probably sitting out this week too. Same with Allen Robinson, leaving the Bears without their No. 1 receiver.
One bit of good news is that Dalvin Cook will be back in action for the Vikings. He’s got a good matchup against the Packers too, a team he had two touchdowns against back in Week 1. Packers running back Aaron Jones, however, will not be in action this week.
As always, be sure to double check the news before finalizing everything on Sunday.
