CLEMSON, S.C. and NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The University of Kentucky indoor track and field teams will complete the regular season Friday and Saturday as the Wildcats participate in Clemson's Tiger Paw Invitational and the Music City Challenge at Vanderbilt.

Kentucky's runners in 400 meters and shorter distances, along with field-events competitors, will be at Clemson. Friday's action begins at noon and Saturday commences at 11 a.m.

The UK women's squad has been paced by junior Abby Steiner, who has five wins this season – one in the 60-meter dash, two in the 200m and two as part of UK's 4x400m relay unit. She was named SEC Co-Runner of the Week for three wins at the South Carolina Invitational. The men's leader has been pole vaulter Matthew Peare, who has two wins this year. Several more Wildcats have claimed an individual win during UK's three meets.

The UK distance women have been led by graduate student Jenna Gearing, who has two mile victories to her credit this season. Her win at last week's South Carolina Invitational featured the eighth-fastest indoor time in school history at 4:42.92.  For the men, junior Dylan Allen won the mile at UK's McCravy-Green Invitational, while Matt Duvall won the 5000m last week with a freshman school-record time of 14:23.49.
