LINCOLN PARISH, La. (KNOE) - Authorities are still seeking answers on a 2017 hit-and-run incident in Ruston.
According to the Lincoln Parish Sheriff’s Office, on Oct. 22, 2017, at around 1:30 a.m., they got a call about a pedestrian that had been hit by a vehicle on South Vienna Street in Ruston.
They identified the pedestrian as 52-year-old Shelia Jackson. The only evidence at the scene found was a Grambling State University fan flag.
If anyone has any information regarding this incident, please contact Ofc. Castaneda of the Ruston Police Department Criminal Investigation Division or report your tip anonymously to crime stoppers. Ruston/Lincoln Crime Stoppers is offering a CASH REWARD up to $2,000.00 for any information leading to the arrest and conviction of any suspect(s) in this or any other felony crime.
