Tropical Depression 14 is still on a path toward Texas and Louisiana, according to the National Hurricane Center's Friday morning update.
The center of the storm is forecast to move closer to the coasts of northern Honduras on Friday, and it should approach the east coast of the Yucatán Peninsula of Mexico near or at hurricane strength late Saturday.
