South MS has been on a bit of a hot streak over the last several days, and it’s still dry with no afternoon showers. This will continue for at least one more day as we finish off the week. That means don’t expect any major changes tonight, low remains near 73 degrees with clear skies and light, northerly winds. Tomorrow will be another hot one, and still dry, though the humidity will finally begin to moderate. Expect a high near 95 degrees with mostly sunny skies and light southerly winds.
While there is an off-chance of seeing a stray shower tomorrow and about a 20% chance for Saturday, I don’t expect to get back to “normal” amounts of afternoon showers until the start of next week.
It appears Monday and Tuesday will be the rainiest as chances climb to 40%. These more cloudy, active afternoons will lead to cooler highs, but they’ll only fall closer to average…near 90 degrees.
