The 72nd Primetime Emmy Awards, set for Sunday, will be a virtual affair, sans the glitzy trappings of the usual red carpet.
Several New Jersey talents are up for awards this year, from Emmys newcomer Ramy Youssef (“Ramy"), who grew up in Rutherford, to three-time winner Meryl Streep (“Big Little Lies”), who hails from Bernardsville and Basking Ridge.
Here is the complete list of nominees across major categories. The HBO limited series “Watchmen" claims the most nominations this year — 26.
The 2020 Emmys, hosted by Jimmy Kimmel, will air 8 p.m. ET Sunday, Sept. 20 on ABC.
